Chemical Engineer (K3) - Nickel & Cobalt Processing

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Engineer (K3) to ensure operational safety, efficiency, and compliance in our state-of-the-art processing facilities in Badung, Bali. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment while driving continuous improvement in our nickel and cobalt processing operations.
As a Chemical Engineer (K3), you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain comprehensive safety management systems, and you will provide technical expertise to support our commitment to sustainable and responsible mining practices.
๐ Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols to ensure compliance with international and local regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental risks.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to operational teams to ensure safe and efficient processing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain comprehensive safety management systems.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
- Provide training and support to employees on HSE protocols and best practices.
๐ Kualifikasi & Syarat
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management in the mining or chemical processing industry.
- Strong understanding of international and local regulations related to HSE in the mining industry.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in risk assessment and hazard analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
